She was born on Dec. 2, 1927, in Brookston, Ind., to George and Julia (Lennen) Mansfield.
Lverree was a graduate of Brookston High School. She met her future husband, Norman John Loftus, while both were attending Purdue University in Lafayette, Ind. They were married June 21, 1947. After Norman's graduation, they moved back to Rhinelander.
Lverree and Norman had three children, Candy, Cindy and Todd. Once her children were in school, Lverree worked at Tot to Teen, Happiness Card and Gift and Ripco Credit Union.
She was an avid gardener, seamstress and cook. Lverree was known by her children and grandchildren as one of the best cooks and bakers, they ever knew. She also enjoyed bowling, card playing, snowmobiling and traveling. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her husband Norman preceded her in death on June 21, 2015.
Surviving are Lverree's children: Candice Jacobson (husband Jim), Cynthia Brinker (husband Bob) and Todd Loftus (wife Debra). Lverree is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
There will be no funeral services.
A private ceremony for family will be held at a later date.
Lverree has requested that memorials go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 5353 Wayzata Blvd. #500, St. Louis Park, Minnesota 55416
