She was born on Feb. 20, 1929, in Aurora, Minn., the daughter of Anselmo and Christine (Fondie) DiGiacomo.
Gloria attended Rhinelander public schools, graduating from Rhinelander High School in 1947. She married Kenneth Juetten on July 24, 1948, at St. Mary's Church in Rhinelander and they enjoyed 50+ years of marriage before Ken's passing on March 22, 1999.
She began her career at Rhinelander Building and Loan Association after her graduation in 1947 and worked in the same profession for 45 years, retiring from Security Bank in 1992. During her career she had the privilege of working with and meeting some really wonderful people. She was also an active member of the Business and Professional Women's Club (BPW).
Gloria was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish. A long-time member of the Rhinelander Country Club - participating in the Ladies' league, bowling leagues, Stunt Nite and other community activities. Following her retirement, in addition to golfing, she enjoyed trips to the casino, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. She served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, at Grace Lodge, and at Ministry St. Mary's Hospital.
Gloria was also an avid sports fan (Badgers, Packers, and especially the HODAGS). Her greatest joy was watching and supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, no matter what sport or activity they were involved in. Her family and friends were very important to her and she cherished the times spent with them. Gloria touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed, especially by her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
