Ruth Hofstetter turns 100
Ruth Hofstetter of Rhinelander turned 100 on Jan. 18. 2020. She is pictured with four generations of her family. Hofstetter is a former Rhinelander resident. She and her husband Al ran The Glass Shelf, a gift store located downtown, from 1965 until about 1985 when they moved to Arizona. Ruth recently moved back to the Northwoods and is living at Lakeshore Assisted Living in Minocqua. Her son, Al Hofstetter, and his wife, Sharon, are Rhinelander residents.
