The Rhinelander Basketball Association held a fifth- and sixth-grade Great Northwest Basketball League boys' tournament at the Jim Miazga Community Gymnasium Saturday, Jan 4.

The Hodag fifth graders finished third in their six-team division going 1-2 on the day. The team opened with a 35-32 loss in overtime to Bessemer-Hurley, fell to D.C. Everest green 28-10 and beat Three Lakes/Sugar Camp 22-8.

The Hodag sixth graders went 0-3 on the day, with a 37-36 loss to Wisconsin Rapids Assumption, a 48-18 loss to Hurley-Ironwood and a 35-18 loss to Wisconsin Rapids.
