Carmen attended schools in Rhinelander, graduating from Rhinelander High School. She loved parties and laughing and her favorite food was hamburgers. She was strong-willed and feisty but always loved hugs and kisses. She was deeply loved by the Scheuermann family who cared for her for the last 34 years.
Carmen is survived by her brother Cory Lee (Kim) Zittlow, her sisters Sarah Lynn (Rob Moore) Taggart and Carrie Ann Zittlow, four nephews and two nieces, her many Scheuermann Brothers and Sisters and all of her AFH companions. She was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew Anthony Allan Taggart, and her foster parents Peter and Beverly Scheuermann.
