Middle school gymnasts end season
The Hodags placed third in both the A and B divisions of the six-team meet.
Rhinelander scored 81.8 in the A division, 1.35 points out of first place. Eighth-grader Alexa Lukes won the individual all-around for the Hodags with a score of 29.4. She took first place on the balance beam, floor exercise and vault, and finished tied for fourth on the uneven bars.
Sophie Miljevich added three podium finishes for Rhinelander in the A division as she finished fourth in the all-around. She was third on the uneven bars and tied for fourth in the floor exercise. Emma Chiamulera added a sixth-place finish on balance beam.
In the B division, Rhinelander scored 104.6 points, finishing only two points out of first. Claire Yunkers finished second in the all-around for Rhinelander and tied for fourth on the vault. Alia Bergman was second in floor exercise and fourth on balance beam; Claire Wilberding was second on uneven bars and Brooklyn Zivko tied for fourth on uneven bars.
