School Forest Advisory Committee receives award for promoting good forest stewardship
According to a school district press release, this award is presented to individuals or groups for outstanding contributions in promoting good forest stewardship through education and/or example.
"We appreciate the care by which the School Forest Committee goes about choosing curriculum and sustainable projects for the school forest," Hermes said in presenting the award.
