Mike is survived by his wife, Joan, brothers Richard (Ginger) Taylor and Robert (Jan) Taylor, sister Carol (Wally) Axberg, daughters, Julie (Paul) Colton, Mary (Greg) Schilleman, Michele (Bill) Foley, Gidget Lynn (Kent) Peterson, Amy (John) Larson, and Lisa (Ray) Radke, stepdaughters Judith Caldwell and Christy (Kenny) Morgan, 22 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
We will always remember him for his ability to do all things and to do them well. Mike was able to build or fix anything. As a young kid in high school, he could make anything motorized run and worked many jobs to make his mark in this world.
Mike loved to hunt and fish and loved the outdoors. Our favorite family times were huge campfires he would build in the backyard. Mike worked and lived in the Rhinelander area until the early '80s, when he moved to northern Utah to work for the Nucor steel mill.
After his retirement, he returned to the Northwoods. Mike will be missed by all of his family and friends.
