She is survived by her children Dustin (Rosalie) Baitinger, Tyler Baitinger, Destiny Baitinger, and Justice Baitinger, her grandchildren Alivia, Emily, Brayden, Elijah, Ashton, Harlequinn, Jeffery, Kyrian, Felicity, Seeley, and Ezekiel, her significant other Robert Edwardsen, her mother Monna Kecker and father Robert (Tammy) Kecker, and her siblings Heather (Larry) Melton and Robert (Amanda) Kecker.
She was preceded in death by her loving great-grandparents, Ellen and Frank Kecker.
Misty dedicated much of her life as a home health care worker in addition to raising her four beloved children. She was devoted to helping others in her career and personal life. Misty also completed schooling towards her CNA licensure. She was a soul filled with laughter, a heart filled with encouragement, and a resilient woman.
Misty was an overcomer. She battled through three different types of cancer, suffered through the loss of her guardians Ellen and Frank Kecker, all while raising her four children. She believed in the beauty of overcoming troublesome times. Her hopeful attitude inspired those around her, while her faith carried her through.
Though she encountered many obstacles, Misty found joy in the simple things. She valued quality time with loved ones and could be found outside wherever the sun was shining. She cherished her adventures on the beaches of Florida and the mountains of Colorado. Those who know Misty have said her genuine gift to empathize and listen was what cultivated her many meaningful relationships.
Misty will be dearly missed by her countless friends, family, and clients. Misty is forever loved by all who knew and loved her.
A public visitation for friends and family was held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec, 3 at the Carlson Funeral Home. A private service was held for immediate family following the visitation. Graveside services for Misty were held at the Crandon Town Cemetery at 2 p.m.
