Kenneth was born May 17, 1955, in Milwaukee, to Ted and Carol (Kielczynski) Golden.
Ken lived in Rhinelander for over 30 years. He spent over 20 years of that time working in finance at St. Mary's hospital. In his retirement from finance he became a chef and enjoyed cooking, especially baking, at home and in a few local restaurants and facilities. He was a beloved son, brother, father and Jaji (grandfather) who is greatly missed already.
He is survived by his mother Carol of Minocqua, his two daughters Valerie (Blake) Poynter of Superior and Natalie (Benjamin) Mullaney of Saint Paul, Minn.; his granddaughters Zoe and Charlotte Poynter, and Brynn Mullaney; his grandson Kieran Mullaney, his sister Sue (Jim) Fowler of Rhinelander, and longtime partner, Deborah Dervetski of Rhinelander. He is preceded in death by his father, Ted Golden.
In his memory, please wear a mask and keep your social distance. Due to the pandemic, a service will be held at a later date when he will be laid to rest at the Northwoods National Cemetery. You may leave your private condolences for the Golden family at www.carlsonfh.com.
The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) is handling the arrangements for the family.
