Dunbar, White score Eagle River Speedway sweeps
Irma's Jackson Brown accomplished the same feat in the junior sprint class.
In the B mod main, Dunbar caught early leader Tad Schoonover on lap 7 and avoided a big pileup on lap 12 which took out the cars of Jonathon Miller, Bruce Belland and Ty Springer. Schoonover hung on for a second place finish in his top performance of the year. Jesse Aho survived the big pileup and drove his battered race car to a third-place finish. Duane Dunbar and George Truscott placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
Rhinelander's Rob Rodziczak lead wire-to-wire to capture the Unified street stock feature while Wausau's Jeff Nowak pulled off the same feat in the stock division.
Eagle River's Tommie Jo Springer and Hartford's Mason Zdroik captured feature wins in the 600 Micro and 300 Junior class, respectively.
Racing resumes tonight. Chef Rene's B Mods, Sweetwater ERS late models, Coffen Construction stocks, Eagle River Dock & Lift Unified street stocks, JD Archery 600 Micro Sprints and Hartman Well Drilling Junior Sprints will be in action.
The first green flag will fly at 7:30 p.m.
