He was born in Blue Island, Ill., on Sept. 8, 1946, to Donald and Royce Crist.
Brian owned and operated Alexander's Family Pizza in Eagle River since 1976. He was very involved in the community and served on the Eagle River Area Fire Department. Brian was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed sporting clay shooting.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Royce.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan (nee Jost) Crist; son, Greg (Karin Wetzel) Crist of Madison; brothers, Dean Crist of Minocqua and Neil (Vicki) Crist of Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
