Her interests were many including cooking and baking - especially during the holidays. Dolores loved music, and was a gifted singer. She was a lover of animals, including her many cherished pets. Dolores enjoyed crocheting, and after retirement she spent many hours creating afghans for each family member. She was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan who watched every game.
Dolores' love for her family was most important in her life, and evident in all she did. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Dolores was deeply loved, and will be profoundly missed.
Dolores is survived by her son Rick Jr., her four daughters: Sharon (Dan) Jenkins, Debbie Nelson, Kathleen Gudleske, and Gina Reich; grandchildren: Eric (Tracy) Ehmann, Angela Ehmann, Melanie (Ian) Farb, Christine (Kyle) Kerver, Carly Reich, Richard Deaton, and Alex Reich; great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Lily & Harrison Farb, and Isabella Ehmann.
She is further survived by sisters-in-law: Barbara Petner, Vivian Wawrzyniak, Marcia Blaszczyk, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The tide recedes, but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand;
The sun goes down,
But gentle warmth still lingers on the land;
The music stops,
And yet it echoes on
In sweet refrains...
For every joy that passes,
Something beautiful
remains.
