Peoples State Bank donates $1,000 to Oneida County Sheriff's Department
Rhinelander police and fire departments also receive donations
Peoples State Bank donates $1,000 to Oneida County Sheriff's Department
"Protecting our community is the focus of these three departments," Karaba, assistant vice president, mortgage lender of Peoples State Bank, said in a press release. "It's easy to step up and contribute when you see how important their mission is to the safety of all our Rhinelander neighbors."
"The men and women of the police, fire, and sheriff's departments all put their lives on the line every day," said Craig Lau, president of Peoples northern market. "It's important for Peoples to show our appreciation for all they do for us."
The departments will use the money for things like the Oneida County Dive Team, firefighter rescue equipment, and the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program.
