Ascension welcomes new family medicine nurse practitioner
"Szmanda provides primary care services with special interest in headaches, sleep disorders and acne for patients 12 years and older," according to an Ascension Medical Group press release. "She will see patients at Ascension Medical Group at Rhinelander, 2251 North Shore Drive on the campus of Ascension St. Mary's Hospital."
"My goal is to provide holistic care to each patient, so they can live their highest quality of life," Szmanda said.
Szmanda completed the Nurse Practitioner Program at Marquette University, Milwaukee.
She is board certified in Adult-Gerontology by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Szmanda has been an avid volunteer for free clinics and hospitals since she was 18, the release notes.
When not in the office she enjoys singing and playing guitar as well as reading and playing tennis.
