Dick Govier, left, a 35-year veteran of U.S. military service including two deployments to Afghanistan, presents checks to Camp American Legion director Don Grundy. Also in the photo is Govier's wife, Susie. The Goviers own Aqualand Ale House in Boulder Junction and the money was raised at an event the business hosted during the 2019 Musky Jamboree held in August. The donation totaled $1,700, $1,600 from Aqualand Ale House and $100 from Septic Inspection Services, also from Boulder Junction. It was the second year the Goviers held a fundraiser specifically for Camp American Legion. Sue Govier said she and her husband lost a close friend to post-traumatic stress. "We feel strongly about what happens to our veterans when they get home and don't have that support system at home," she said. "This is the best place for getting that," Dick Govier said. Turning to Grundy, he added: "People believe in what you're doing here. They really do."
