"NCES families wore costumes to participate in a variety of games," according to a school district press release. "Families enjoyed tossing bean bags into pumpkins, ringing hula hoops over pumpkins, face painting, temporary Halloween tattoos and the toe-ring grab."
Culver's gift cards were given away throughout the evening. Families also brought many non-perishable food items to the event to be donated to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry.
"Many community organizations made this event a success," the release states. "Rondele Ranch donated their facilities. The Harshaw Helping Hands volunteered by facilitating the games. NCES's Parent Advisory Committee donated the prizes and materials for the games. A big thank you to all of the people that helped with the Monster Mash!"
