Hodag JVs compete at GNC cross country meet
Cody Ruetz led the Hodag boys, placing third in a 39-runner field. He covered the hilly 5-kilometer course in 21 minutes, 9.7 seconds. Jack DeNamur was second across for the Hodag boys in 10th overall (22:03.3). Marcus O'Malley finished 14th (22:25.4), Travis White was 15th (22:46.7), Jake Losch finished 18th (23:26.9), Nicholas St. Pierre was 19th (23:32.5) and Ty Welk finished 20th (23:35.2).
Valerie Dalka led the Hodag girls with a 12th-place finish in a field of 38 runners, with a time of 26:23.2. Aubrey Younker was 17th (27:05.1), Kylinn Gechas finished 22nd (27:34.2), Ellie Van Camp finished 27th (29:28.0), Juliana Smith was 28th (29:37.7), Delaney Chillemi placed 31st (30:21.1) and Jenna Younker finished 33rd (30:38.9).
