Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Rhinelander. She graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1949 and then moved on to nursing school in Kenosha. After her nurse's schooling she returned to Rhinelander and was employed by the St. Mary's Hospital for many years as an LPN. She married Richard "Dick" Lindner on May 8, 1951 and God blessed them with 46 years of marriage and five children.
In Bonnie's spare time she enjoyed golfing, reading, knitting, crocheting and puzzles. She was a big sports fan and she loved attending the Hodag basketball games and watching the Packers. She loved being with family and friends at whatever the occasion. Bonnie spent the past year traveling cross country with her daughter and son-in-law (Sue & Dan) seeing and experiencing many new and exciting things.
Bonnie is survived by her children Susan (Daniel) Larson, Lori (Scott) Synkelma, Carolyn (David) Fletcher, Scott (Linda) Lindner and Michael Lindner, her 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, her sister Carol (Gene) Polkowski, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Richard on Nov. 15, 1997, her infant granddaughter Tara, her parents and her brother Eugene Perry.
Visitation for Bonnie will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019 from 9 to 11 a.m., with a memorial service at 11 a.m., all at the Carlson Funeral Home. Deacon Ronald Bosi will officiate.
