New surgeon to treat patients in Rhinelander and Tomahawk
He will see patients in Rhinelander and Tomahawk, according to a press release announcing his arrival.
Van Lier Ribbink performs a broad array of surgical procedures including advanced laparoscopic surgery and has special interest in endocrine, biliary, and breast surgeries, the release states.
Clinic appointments with Van Lier Ribbink will be scheduled at Ascension Medical Group at Rhinelander on the Campus of Ascension St. Mary's Hospital and Ascension Medical Group at Tomahawk on the Campus of Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital.
"I emphasize a team approach that includes caring for the patient while utilizing my expertise to provide an exceptional experience," said Van Lier Ribbink.
Van Lier Ribbink earned his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA. He completed his surgical residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Rochester, Minn. When not in the office, he enjoys water and cross-country skiing and golf.
