Bill is survived by his wife, Sandra Larson; sons, Todd (Sandra) Tesch of McCallen, Texas, Josh DeMeyer of Portage, Donnie Boe of Appleton; daughter, Alicia (Rob) Hutchison of Rhinelander; brothers, Gary Larson and Tom Larson of Rhinelander, Mark (Julie) Larson of New York; sister, Charlene (Ken) Page of Rhinelander, sister-in-law, Wanda Larson of Rhinelander, brothers-in-law, Ben Beaulieu of Wausau, and Russell Knoblock of Wausau; sisters-in-law, Darlene Kuik of Manitowoc and Janis Knoblock of Wausau; grandsons, Jordon Tesch, Connor Tesch, both of Milwaukee, Jayln of Portage; Riley, Reid, Ryan and Ryder Hutchison, all of Rhinelander. Also surviving are special friends, Steve McMillion, "Lion" Nancy and Jackie Rattlif.
Bill is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and many good friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; Ward and Ruth (Dutton) Larson; brother, Larry Larson, sister-in-law Gail Beaulieu and brother-in-law, Bob Kuik.
In Bill's spare time he loved to travel, fish and hunt. But most of all Bill loved to spend time with his grandsons.
Bill was a member of Lions Club International and was a member of the Hodag Lions, Northwoods Lions and ended with the Gleason Area Lions. His time as a Lion spanned more than 30 years. He was active with the children's programs and believed in the Wisconsin Lions Camp for challenged children and adults. Bill was the District and State Tail Twister and Sergeant at Arms for 20 years.
Bill proudly served his country in United States Army from December of 1967 until December of 1970. He was honorably discharged with the rank of E4.
The visitation for Bill will take place on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019 at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service. Lori Lee King will be officiating. At the conclusion of the funeral service, military honors will be conducted by the Ray Rousseau V.F.W. Post 3143 Rhinelander and by two representatives from the United States Army.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Bill may be given to the Wisconsin Lions Camp, 3834 County Rd. A, Rosholt, Wisconsin 54473.
