Chamber welcomes new event and program coordinator
"Boehlen will be responsible for coordinating existing and the development of new Chamber events and programs as well as general marketing responsibilities," according to a Chamber press release. "Boehlen is a Rhinelander native with a passion for the community. She holds a degree in Communications with a Photography minor. For over 5 years, she has been in the Marketing field and has extensive background in many marketing tactics. Personally, Boehlen returned to the Rhinelander area in 2014 with her husband to raise their two kids. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Lights of the Northwoods for the last two years and assisted the group in the creation of their non-profit status."
"I know I can be of service to the hometown I am so proud of," said Boehlen, "I look forward to the Event and Program Coordinator position and using my creativity to grow involvement and increase passion for our chamber."
"We are very excited to welcome Rachel to our team here at the Chamber," said executive director Lauren Sackett. "I think her background in marketing and her personality will really be valuable when planning the Chamber's events and programs."
The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to the enrichment of the greater Rhinelander community with an emphasis on our members, the release notes. RACC, which has more than 375 members, organizes several events throughout the year including the Hodag Home & Lifestyle Show, Hops & Vines, Art on the Courthouse Lawn, Rhinelander Car Show, Project North Festival, the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting and more.
