Beverly J. Keso, 79, of Rhinelander, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital.

Beverly was born in Rhinelander on Saturday, April 6, 1940, the daughter of Malvern and Viola (Constanineau) Meisler. She attended school in Rhinelander and was a 1958 graduate of Rhinelander High School.

She was united in marriage on Sept. 6, 1958, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to James R. Keso. The marriage of Beverly and James made them inseparable. The couple moved back to Rhinelander after living in New Mexico for a couple of months. Beverly and James owned and operated two restaurants in Rhinelander. In the late 1970s they took over a group home called Introspect Foster Home for two years. They moved back to their home with there children and foster children. They were foster parents to 70 children and offered their home to foster children for 20 years. This sense of caring and compassion were instilled in Beverly's daughters. Beverly enjoyed being a mother and homemaker. Her passion was her children and her family. She loved animals and pets.

Beverly was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church.

She will be dearly missed by her children: Tracy (Jeff) Dailey of Rhinelander, Laurie (Rick) Davis of Sugar Camp, Barb (Bob) Robinson of Rhinelander, Bobbie (Lonnie) Keso-Mode of Rhinelander, James (Laurie) Keso of Rhinelander; 14 grandchildren: Jason and Eric Dailey, Chris, Chrissy, Stephanie, Luke, Zandell and Zailey Davis, Adam and Kyle Robinson, Justin Zastrow, Brittany Mode and Ali and Jordan Keso. Also surviving are numerous great-grandchildren; sister Dory Hoffhein of Rhinelander, brother Bob Gilman of Milwaukee, sister-in-law Carol Gilman and her four-legged companion. Luigi. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James R. Keso in 2007, sister Joyce (Donald) Richter, brother Collin "Joe" Gilman, brother-in-law George Hoffhein, sister-in-law Jean Gilman and her four-legged companion Darby.

The visitation for Beverly will take place on Tuesday, (today) Nov. 5, 2019 at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Prayers will then be offered before processing to Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, located at 125 E. King Street, Rhinelander for a Mass of Christian Burial which will begin at 11 a.m. At the conclusion of the mass there will be a procession to Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery for the Committal Service.
