Children's book author visits local elementary school
While visiting the 4K-second graders, she read "The Coal Thief" and the students learned that her four picture books are tied together, school officials said in a press release. The picture books are about her father's childhood life in the 1920s. They also reference one of the other picture books and they all end with a hug.
Adams informed the students that they can become the world's greatest reader by practicing! She encouraged them to read many books and never to stop reading.
"The Circus Thief," "The Egg Thief" and "The Santa Thief' are among Alane Adams' picture books. A new book will be released in April 2020.
