Students learn about solar system through planetarium visit
"The students learned how to find Polaris by first finding the big dipper," according to a school district of Rhinelander press release. "Polaris is the North Star. The students learned that the North Star is in the same place every evening. They also found the small dipper and many other constellations."
At the end of the program, the students watched a full dome show entitled the "Legends of the Night Sky: Perseus and Andromeda." The students were surprised that there are 88 different constellations in the sky.
