Ms. Marheine serves on the outpatient clinic team and as the clinic's backup telehealth clinical technician. Melissa Campbell, RN (second from right) received the Award for Excellence for Registered Nurses. Ms. Campbell serves as the lead RN for the Rhinelander VA Clinic. Presenting the awards are Andrea Collins, RN, Associate Director for Nursing and Patient Care (left) and Jill Bruno-Enright, RN, Assistant Chief Nurse, Outpatient Care (right). Also receiving an Award for Excellence in Nursing is Ann Mattson, RN (not pictured), the Administrative Registered Nurse recipient who serves in the medical center's Quality Management Department. The medical center employs over 200 nurses at its main Iron Mountain facility and seven community outpatient clinics across the Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin. The Administrator's Award for Excellence in Nursing was established in 1984 to honor at each VA medical center one nurse in each of the categories noted above who are actively engaged in the care of patients.
