Beverly J. Scheuermann went home to her precious Savior on the 13th of May, 2019, in Pulaski, Virginia at the age of 80.

She was born July 13, 1938, in Waupun, to Roy and Ora Myers.

Beverly married Peter F. Scheuermann, her high school sweetheart from Ripon, in July of 1958. They lived in Pickett, Wis. on the family farm until 1969 and then moved to Oshkosh, where they served as pastors of the Pentecostal Church of God on Arthur Avenue. During this time, they took in dozens of teenage foster children. In 1976, they moved to Parrish and opened their home, "The Flying Horseshoe Ranch" for special needs children and adults. For over 40 years they cared for and raised over 100 children and adults with mental and physical disabilities.

Beverly is survived by her children, Peter (Stella) Scheuermann, Bonna (Randall) Lawrence, Rachel (Terry) Wilson, Preston (Kristy) Scheuermann, Barry (Sherry) Scheuermann, Terry (Sandy) Scheuermann, SaraLee (Paul) Ellenbecker, Scott Scheuermann, Ben Scheuermann, and BillieJo Scheuermann; foster daughters, Carmen Zietlow and Bonita; and siblings, Mavis Spears, Eugene R. Myers, and Roy J. Myers.

She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren and counting. She is further survived by countless other foster children, neighbors, and friends whom Peter and Beverly loved, and accepted into their home, and raised as if their own.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ora Myers; her husband, Peter F. Scheuermann; children, Rachel M. Scheuermann and Richard Webster Scheuermann; her foster sons, Matthew Theilman and Zachary Bahlow; sisters, Luetta J. Wedde, Barbara A. Gitzel, Janice M. Myers, and Judith K. Jones; and brothers, Richard L. Myers and Gordon K. Myers.

The funeral service for Beverly will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2019, at the Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414 / www.carlsonfh.com). Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in the Town of Skanawan.
