Violet "Vi" Rose Bosquette

Violet "Vi" Rose Bosquette, 84 of Tomahawk, and a former resident of Rhinelander, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019, at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk. Vi was born in Pearson on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 1935, the daughter of Earl and Viola M. (Eaton) Jenkins. The family lived in Sugar Camp where Vi attended grade school. She attended Three Lakes High School for one year. After high school, Vi was a babysitter, cleaned homes and was employed with Red Dot Potato Farms. She was united in marriage to Fred Bosquette in Luxemburg, Wis. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Vi was later employed for 24 years with the Claridge Hotel in housekeeping. She enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors, but most of all, she loved spending time and visiting with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed dancing, listening to western polkas, and having an old-fashioned cocktail.

Vi was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church and had been a volunteer at the animal shelter in Rhinelander. She will be dearly missed by her brother, Ivan (Darlene "Dolly") Jenkins of Tomahawk, and her sister, Betty Lou Hoes of Luxemburg, Wis. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Bosquette; one son, Keith Jenkins; two brothers, Bernie Jenkins and Dale Truman Jenkins; brother-in-law Elmer Hoes, sister-in-law Judith E. Jenkins and by one nephew, Scott Ivan Jenkins. The visitation for Vi will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, located at the corner of King and Conro Street, from noon until the 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Fr. Mike Tupa will be officiating. Immediately following the Mass everyone is invited to process to Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery for the committal service. After the cemetery service, everyone is invited to a luncheon and fellowship which will be held in the Hildebrand Funeral Home Banquet Room. Hildebrand Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists, 24 E.
