Tony was an intellectual, a hard worker and a man that would always lend a hand. He was an avid outdoorsman with a love of skydiving, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, and discing. On June 27, 2017 he successfully completed the United States Parachute Association accelerated free fall first jump course - earning him the right to solo jump.
Tony was the life of every party and made many friends wherever he went.
Tony is survived by his mother, Kristine (Bill) Cover; his brothers David (Lauren) Sackett and Justin (Anna) Kemp; his sister Kasi Cover (Joey); his girlfriend Kylie Rappley-Stevens. He is further survived by many grandparents, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and great great friends.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Sackett and his great-grandparents.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home in Rhinelander. In lieu of a service, his family invites anyone that wishes to share a story to speak at the visitation.
Memorial donations will be welcomed at the visitation or directed towards the family. You may leave your private condolences for the Sackett family at www.carlsonfh.com. The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) is handling the arrangements for the Sackett family.
