Students at James Williams Middle School (JWMS) have been focusing on the core value of responsibility during the month of March as part of their character education.

"Partners In Education (PIE) members were recently invited to talk with students during their Intervention and Enrichment period about how responsibility has been important in their careers," school officials said in a press release. "Ryan Zietlow, CEO of the YMCA of the Northwoods, and Amy Vanney, branch manager of Nicolet National Bank in Rhinelander, shared information about their job duties and how responsibility plays an integral role in their daily work."

"Students asked questions and made connections to their habits and choices," the release states. "This was a great opportunity for students to learn from community partners how their character now will affect their lives in the future."
