Jack Winkler, co-organizer of the St. Patty's Day Parade, predicts there will be anywhere from 35 to 55 units in the parade, but it's incredibly weather dependent.
"It seems like every other year we've had either really nice weather or at least reasonable weather, and we're not on the good year for weather," he said.
This year, parade goers can expect pleasant, but slightly cool conditions. The National Weather Service predicts partly sunny skies and a high of 33 degrees for Saturday.
Celebrate Irish heritage and family fun at the parade, either as a bystander or in the parade.
People can still sign up to be in the parade at 715-369-3030.
Pub Crawl
The Pub Crawl has been underway for a short while now.
This year has 33 establishments in it, which is more than other years.
Participants have a short while left to participate in the Pub Crawl, and they don't need to visit every business to participate in the drawing.
It's $5 per Pub Crawl card and can be purchased, filled out and turned in at participating establishments.
People do not need to be present to win the drawing. Proceeds from the Pub Crawl will be split, half to the Safe Ride Program and the other half is prizes in $100 increments.
The winners of the Pub Crawl will be drawn at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17 at Big Daddy's.
