The League of Women Voters assisted Rhinelander High School 18-year-olds in registering to vote Tuesday, March 5. This is the fifth year the organization has held a registration drive at the high school. Pictured LVW board member Karen Kitze directs the high schoolers through the registration process. The first election these students will be able to vote is the April 2 primary. "(It's) a very important election, there's not a lot of offices but the State Supreme Court judge and the ability to get started voting," said Debra Durchslag, board member. In roughly a half hour 16 students signed up to register, which Kitze said was a strong tourney. The RHSâKey Club and high school assisted the League of Women Voters in this effort. People can register to vote online until March 13, and people can always register in person on election day.
