Jimmy is survived by daughter Lisa (John) Bordagaray (Rhinelander), sons Theodore Cox (Elkhart, Ind.), James Cox (Elkhart, Ind.) stepson Steve Eppard (Mesa, Ariz.), brother David (Wilma) Cox (Rhinelander), sister Anna Mae Ytzen (Creston, Iowa), and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife Judy, his parents, sister Marilyn Roberts; brothers, Glen and Ralph Cox and son Donald Cox. Jimmy was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
After serving four years in the U.S. Navy, Jimmy moved to Elkhart, Ind. where he raised his family and worked at WT Armstrong until his retirement in 2001. After retirement Jimmy moved back to Rhinelander to enjoy a quiet life. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers Glen, Ralph and David. Shared his love of the outdoors with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
