Havel named executive director of Habitat for Humanity Northwoods
Havel has a financial services business background in Rhinelander having worked in banking, real estate and financial planning, according to a press release announcing the appointment. Havel most recently served as Development Director of WXPR public radio. He is Lieutenant Governor-elect of the Wisconsin Michigan District of Kiwanis and a current board member of the YMCA of the Northwoods.
"We are looking forward to Dave Havel's leadership at Habitat for Humanity," said Kay Anderson, board president. "The board of directors will work closely with Dave to seek new ways to finance and construct homes to enable affordable home ownership opportunities for low income working families."
