Gladys Ann (Pat) Loduh

Gladys Ann (Pat) Loduha of Pulaski, Tenn. (formerly of Rhinelander) passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the age of 94, at Maury Regional Hospital. She was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 4, 1925.

Gladys and her husband Frank Loduha built and ran the Crystal Rock Ballroom and Roller Rink located in Rhinelander, where many of the "greats" performed including Johnny Cash, Glen Miller, Buddy Holly and Minnie Pearl. She later became a caterer and then a florist before retiring and moving to her home in Tennessee in 2003. She was a member of the Smokey Bears Ladies Auxiliary who assisted the local Rhinelander Fire Department with fundraising and support during emergencies. She was also a board member of the Crescent Lake Association in Rhinelander. She was a talented visual artist and upon moving to Pulaski, became part of the STAAR Theatre Family.

Memorial donations for an Oak Tree and Creekside Memorial Garden by her Pulaski home are suggested in honor of her love for beautiful flowers and nature.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Catherine LesSard Draeger and William Frederick Draeger; her husband Frank Jacob Loduha; Karrie Sue Bongard (daughter); Russell Lee Loduha (son); Judy Loduha (daughter-in law); Dorothy Mehrens (sister); Byron Mehrens (brother-in-law) and Robert Draeger (brother).

Survived by her daughter, Karen (Wayne) Wood of Elkmont, Ala., son, Rodney Loduha (Diane) of Rhinelander, and Neal Bongard (son-in-law) of Minnesota; seven grandchildren: Mike Loduha of Hazelhurst, Brad Loduha (Nicki) of Minnesota, Michelle Doan (Long) of Minnesota, Ryan Loduha (Jaime McDonald) of Clearwater, Fla., Missy Loduha of Sparta, Cheri Volkin (Ron) of Madison, Ala., and Tammy Pierchoski (Stan) of Pulaski, Tenn. Also survived by Butch Loduha (nephew) of Rhinelander, and Carol Czeczka of Neenah, son-in-law Al Morey (Julie) of Utah, son-in-law Jerry Stone (Carolyn) of Athens, Ala.; 15 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial visitation for Gladys will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Carlson Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow shortly after 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Cemetery.

The Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414) is serving the Loduha family.
