Over the last few decades, thousands of attendees have spent the Second Saturday in June on the Oneida County Courthouse Lawn and this year will be no exception, chamber officials said in a press release.
The Art Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. Attendees can enjoy free admission. In addition, many exhibitors will be creating or demonstrating their products, entertainment will be provided by the Rhinelander Community Band, and there will be a variety of food vendors.
The 2018 Art Fair drew a great crowd and event organizers anticipate this year's event will bring even more.
The Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn will feature artists and crafters booths selling items like handmade pottery, woodworking crafts, garden art, soaps and more, the release states.
"The second Saturday in June has become one of the top weekends to visit Rhinelander," RACC Event Coordinator Evan Verploegh said in a press release. "With the range of activities the event offers, there really is something for everyone, no matter your age or interests."
June 8 is also the date of the Rhinelander Car Show on Baird Avenue. Antique, classic, and custom cars from enthusiasts all across Wisconsin will be on display to make a complete Saturday outing for the whole family.
In addition to the Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn and the Rhinelander Car Show, Downtown Rhinelander Inc. will host Bikes and Burgers and the Master Gardeners of the North will host their annual plant sale.
Those who are interested in being an exhibitor can contact the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce to get an application for the 2019 Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn at 715-365-7464.
