Great Library Worm Race to be crawled July 30
Worm racing teams need to register with the Northwoods Worm Racing Federation by visiting the library's children's department or by calling 365-1070, extension 2, library officials said in a press release.
There is a limit of 60 two-person teams.
This program is sponsored by the Rhinelander District Library Foundation (RDLF).
Rainforest Animals
Staff from Nature's Niche in Stevens Point will talk about and display a variety of rainforest animals at the library on Wednesday, July 24 with 45-minute programs at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. These will be fun and educational hands-on programs, the release states. A free ticket is required and can be obtained by visiting the children's department or calling 715-365-1070 ext. 2. This program is also sponsored by the RDLF.
