She married Eugene Friz and lived most of her life in Rhinelander, working for M&I Bank and Trig's Grocery Store. Edna was never far from her beloved dogs. She liked to snowmobile in the winter, go boating in the summer and cheer for the Packers in the fall. She also spent hours sewing, crocheting and knitting.
Edna is survived by her niece, Jan Bessa of Elcho, nephew, Joel (Cheryl) Bessa of Elcho and nephew, Baird (Rose) Cook of Rhinelander as well as many other nieces and nephews. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five sisters and three brothers.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at the Carlson Funeral Home, 134 N. Stevens St., Rhinelander (715-369-1414 / www.carlsonfh.com), with Rev. Richard Krahn officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Home Cemetery.
