Ripco Credit Union has created a Food Drive Challenge to help ensure the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry will continue to be well-stocked and positioned to help all of our community members, including any employees who are or will be directly impacted by the announced layoffs at Petco (Drs. Foster & Smith) and/or the U.S. government partial shutdown.

Drop-off bins are located at the Rhinelander Branch of Ripco Credit Union (121 Sutliff Ave.) and the credit union will provide a one dollar cash donation match for each pound of food collected, up to 500 pounds. This challenge will run through Thursday, Jan. 31, the credit union announced in a press release

Guy Hansen, RAFP executive director, thanked Ripco Credit Union for initiating this Food Drive Challenge and stated this is but another example of what a wonderfully generous community we live in.
