The Rhinelander Basketball Association held a fifth- and sixth-grade boys' basketball tournament Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Jim Miazga Community and James Williams Middle School gymnasiums.

The RBA's sixth-grade team went 3-0 on the day to take first place in its division. The Hodags recorded wins over D.C. Everest White (29-17), Wausau West White (41-11) and Wittenberg-Birnamwood (35-16).

The Hodag fifth-graders went 2-1 and were the runner-up in their six-team pool. Rhinelander's only loss came to Ironwood-Hurley. The Hodags defeated Fall Creek (34-32) and Lakeland (33-22).
