Four schools and a total of 24 teams went head-to-head during the annual Financial Investment Challenge Bowl Jan. 9 at Nicolet College in Rhinelander. Rhinelander students fared well in the competition. The team of Hunter Hicks, Grace Heck, Bridger Flory and Emma Roberts took first while Josh Francisco, Emma Hjelle, Russell Benoy and Ben Kubisiak placed second. The team of Neil Mathews, Alex Kubeny, Payton Johnson and Karston LaDean took one of the consolation places. The first and second place finishers will compete at the state level May 21 in Milwaukee.
