Charter NEX celebrates year of safety
"It's about the people on the floor and their commitment to safety," plant safety coordinator Ted Towle said. "That's why we're doing so well. It's about the culture on the floor and what gets us from one day to the next."
The plant's highly engaged workforce has been very accepting of a program to help with peer-to-peer accountability and also submits a large number of safety suggestions which reduces physical hazards, the release notes.
