The top three competitors in each event will proceed to state - 11 members will go from Rhinelander. Five came home with a first place medal: Abby Krueger (Client Services), Makenzie Denny (Introduction to Information Technology), and team Grace Heck, Hunter Hicks, and Josh Randolph (Management Decision Making).
Three more members of Rhinelander FBLA/DECA took second place in their event: Amelia Lewallen (Economics) and team Valerie Dalka and Carmen Ibarra (Entrepreneurship).
Also qualifying for state by taking third place are Abbey Henrichs (Networking Concepts), Payton Johnson (Personal Finance), Samuel Fehlen (Sales Presentation). Zoe Lewallen (Accounting I) took fourth and was also recognized at the Awards Ceremony following competition in Nekoosa.
Rhinelander placed ninth as a chapter, based on the amount of first through third place finishers. Rhinelander will bring its 11 State qualifiers to Green Bay in April for a three-day leadership conference and competition.
