Organizers said this year's anniversary drew approximately 170 people, close to an all-time record.
"I believe that the event was a huge success as it appeared that approximately 40 percent of those in attendance had never attended our anniversary benefit in the past," said Tammy Modic, executive director of NATH. "They have always been supporters just not attended this event."
Modic noted the anniversary event is typically the organization's largest one-day fundraising event.
"The community's support continues to amaze me from the individuals who attend the event to the businesses and individuals who donate items/prized for the event to the businesses/individuals who sponsor tables at the event," she said.
Proceeds from the event will be put toward the general operations of Frederick Place.
In the eight years the homeless shelter has been open, 795 unduplicated individuals have stayed there and the home has never been vacant, she added.
