"Every year Printpack conducts a pledge campaign for Northwoods United Way. We have seen a steady increase each year in the amount that the employees raise for the area," Nancy Sattler, executive director of the Northwoods United Way, explained in a press release announcing the donation. "It's great to see that people are giving back to the community that they live, work, and play in! This year's donation exceeded $27,000."
"We have a group of employees that understands the mission of the United Way here in the north woods and have the opportunity to do what they can to help," said Jennifer May, human resource generalist at Printpack Rhinelander. "Participation in the pledge campaign has been fantastic!"
The Northwoods United Way, Inc. is a locally directed organization, working to improve lives in Forest, Oneida and Vilas counties by mobilizing community resources and strategically investing in human service programs.
"We are getting close to wrapping up our 2019 Pledge Campaign, and this donation from the employees at Printpack will go a long way in getting us closer to achieving our goal," Sattler noted. "We still need the communities support in order to meet our goal for 2019."
