Whisker Wonderland to raise funds for Hope Lodge
"Whisker Wonderland is an opportunity to have professional pet portraits taken of your best friend, dog, cat, rat, turtle; whatever completes your family," organizers said in a press release.
Whisker Wonderland will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 13 at Ripco Credit Union in Eagle River and from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 14 at Ripco Credit Union in Rhinelander.
Funds raised help will support the Hope Lodge in Marshfield which provides free lodging for cancer patients, and their caregivers, while they are receiving cancer treatment away from home.
"In past years, the Whisker Wonderland has provided wonderful photo memories at the holiday season," the release states.
Pets should be leashed or in a carrier for safety of transport and while waiting for their turn. Family portraits are also available. Suggested minimum donation is $5.
In addition, pets photographed at the Bark For Life and Whisker Wonderland events are likely to be included in the 2021 Bark for Life calendar.
The 2020 Bark For Life calendar will be available at Whisker Wonderland for an additional $5 donation . A signed Green Bay Packers football from the 50th season will also available to view and bid on at both Ripco Credit Union branches until Dec. 14.
The winning bidder will be announced at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ripco Credit Union in Rhinelander.
Refreshments will also be provided byRipco Credit Union.
