The Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander recognized two outstanding Rhinelander High School seniors at a recent meeting. Jaylen Janssen is the student council president and is a member of the National Honor Society, show choir, and solo and ensemble. She was the Wisconsin Ambassador of Music in 2018. She is also a member of the swimming, Nordic skiing and soccer teams. She plans to attend the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and major in psychology with hopes of becoming a psychologist. Thaddeus Heck is an all-state swimmer and is on the boards of the National Honor Society and student council. He is also training to become a CNA.
