Santa Claus is coming to town: Christmas parade, tree lighting Dec. 7
The holiday fun will start at 5 p.m. with the parade of floats through the downtown district, followed by the lighting of the holiday tree at Stevensport Square, according to explorerhinelander.com.
After the tree is lit, Santa Claus will listen to Christmas wishes from local youngsters.
Hot chocolate and cookies will be served and the Masonic Lodge will be open if the weather is chilly and people need to warm up.
Holiday music is also planned.
