Ascension Medical Group welcomes new women's health specialist
According to an Ascension press release, Dr. Wennlund will be providing gynecology services at Ascension Medical Group clinics in Woodruff, 240 Maple Street on the Campus of Howard Young Medical Center, and Rhinelander, 2251 North Shore Drive on the Campus of Ascension St. Mary's Hospital.
She specializes in individualized gynecological care for women from adolescence to end-of-life with special interest in women's sexual health, the release states.
Dr. Wennlund earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, Ill.
"I strive to provide a safe, comfortable and confidential environment to encourage open discussion to provide the most complete care for my patients," Wennlund said.
In her spare time, Dr. Wennlund enjoys spending time with family while water skiing and mountain biking.
