Joyce was raised in California. She graduated from the Kennedy High School in 1976 in Granada Hills, Calif. After her schooling Joyce and her family lived in Granada Hills until moving to Eagle River in 2002. She and her husband Scott owned and operated a machine shop in Sun Valley, Calif. and then Raceline Oil Pumps in Eagle River.
In her youth, Joyce lettered in golf, bowling and volleyball in high school and was active in Job's Daughters. She had many talents beyond her love of athletics. Joyce could play the accordion, was an accomplished artist and she loved to draw.
She is survived by her husband Scott, her daughter Kimberly (Todd) Perigo Jr., her son Kyle, her sisters Karan (Terry) Stiles, Kris Reeves, Janice (James) Lang-Hearsey and Amy (Christopher) Mahony, her brother David (Norma) Lang; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Joyce will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019 from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Carlson Funeral Home in Rhinelander. Graveside services and interment will take place at 2 p.m., at the Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery in Merrill. You may leave your private condolences for the Lang family at www.carlsonfh.com.
